The employee research team has extensive experience of managing employee opinion surveys: providing advice in the areas of survey management, communication and action planning, and conducting ad hoc employee research studies.
Employee surveys
We conduct employee surveys throughout the employee lifecycle, with the ultimate aim of improving employee engagement in organisations.
We conduct more than 180 surveys each year for a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sector. Our full service approach to employee opinion surveys enables us to assist with all aspects of the project, from setting objectives and designing an appropriate questionnaire, through to interpreting data and assisting with action planning.
Integrating research and technology
ORC International was originally formed through the amalgamation of a dedicated research organisation with an IT specialist firm. We excel in providing smarter, faster and more fluent research to our clients though our method and reporting outputs.
The Employee Research division works closely with our specialist teams of survey analysts, statisticians, web designers and data processing staff. This team are responsible for designing and delivering vast quantities of user friendly, action focused data reports and for setting up and managing online surveys.
Qualitative research
Qualitative research is an integral part of our offering. Group discussions are the ideal forum for questionnaire design and action planning purposes, and for exploring issues where diverse attitudes and opposing perceptions are evident. The group setting is also the perfect environment for evaluating concepts and generating ideas, as respondents are able to build on and "spark off" each other’s ideas.
Depth interviews are most valuable for exploring issues in greater detail where real depth of understanding is sought. One-on-one depth interviews allow individual circumstances, opinions and mindsets to be revealed and are well suited to researching the more sensitive and personal subject areas, such as bullying, working relationships or workplace stress.
